ArtGuard Systems for
PUBLIC & PRIVATE GARDENS

The ArtGuard System is ideal for protecting all aspects of the garden, whether large or small, public or private.

Police statistics prove that even the small, privately owned garden without public access is no longer immune from the attention of thieves and vandals. The situation for the larger, commercially run property that invites members of the public into the garden, and advertises the fact, is even more acute.

The ArtGuard System offers the perfect solution to a wide range of security problems in the garden and its environs.

Statues & Furniture can he individually “tagged” and any attempt to move one will immediately cause the Transmitter to alert the Base Station and sound the alarm. Correctly installed, the ArtGuard System can work with any type of material; special care must be taken where iron, lead, bronze etc.are concerned because, in some circumstances, there may be possible interference with the AGS radio transmission.

Plant Pots & Displays can be “tagged” by placing a Transmitter just below the surface of the soil. Any attempt to remove the item or pull the contents from a container will trigger the alarm.

Garden Equipment can have a Transmitter fixed unobtrusively to its framework (eg. beneath the seat of a lawnmower). A Transmitter might be attached to a shed door to offer instant protection against unauthorised entry.

Valuable possessions, often kept in sheds and out-houses (eg. mountain bikes), can also be permanently “tagged” to provide instant protection when left in the protected garden area.

NOTE: the Base Station must be turned off before any item “tagged” is moved, otherwise the alarm will immediately sound.

ESTATES & COMMERCIAL

The ArtGuard System is idea for garden centres and other commercial retailers who feature a wide range of goods on display with free ranging public access. Portable and flexible, the ArtGuard System has many and varied applications:

For example: a stack of fence panels leaning against a wall can he secured simply by “tagging” the outside panel.

A pile of fertiliser bags can be protected by “tagging” a net or tarpaulin draped over the bags on top of the pile.

Large pots can be secured by “tagging” the top item of the stack or, if stand alone, by attaching individual Transmitters.

Valuable shrubs can have a Transmitter placed an inch below the surface of the soil — any disturbance sounds the alarm.

No “tagged” item may be removed without authorisation and even if potential thieves are familiar with the ArtGuard System, they are powerless to remove a Transmitter tag without triggering the alarm.

WARNING

The Police always advise against members of the public attempting to accost or detain criminals caught in the act. It is strongly recommended that the audible DETERRENT of the ArtGuard Series 3 is selected unless there are experienced security officers on site when a silent alarm option might be considered applicable.

ARTGUARD SECURITY SYSTEMS are recognised by leading insurers and in certain circumstances the installation of an ArtGuard System for the garden might have a beneficial effect on premiums.
